Being part of the Lottie team allows me to make change on both an individual and industry level, whilst working alongside genuine, wonderful and talented individuals.
If you could change one thing about the care industry, what would it be?
I would remove all funding anxiety from care. I wish we aged knowing that no matter what, we knew we'd be able to put our feet up in a wonderful environment receiving the best care, no matter our financial situation.

What's your favourite part of the job?
My favourite part of the job is knowing that when I leave work each day I have done as much as I possibly can to help families in really tough situations. Whether that is seeing them through the whole journey and finding a care home for them, or just offering advice and a listening ear - it is incredibly rewarding.

Dream Care Home
My dream care home would have a spa so I could get my nails done and massages. I would love lots of land with animals and I would be allowed to bring my cat and dogs. I would also love a cinema room so I could watch Harry Potter when ever I wanted.
Why Lottie?
I know how important is it to find the right care home for a loved one and making that decision takes a lot of time and can be hard. I feel the team at Lottie really care about people and want to help this stressful process be as easy as possible. Everyone deserves to be happy, well looked after and comfortable.
What did life before Lottie look like?
I was a care assistant for 4.5 years while doing my degree and loved it. My life was very busy and I was either asleep or at work and university.

Dream Care Home
My dream care home would be in the centre of London with access to plenty of trips out. It also takes consistent effort to maintain my hair, so access to a hairdresser is essential. A pet friendly environment is also very important, I like to be surrounded by lots of people and pets.
Why Lottie?
I wanted meaning with my job and Lottie has given this to me. It brings me genuine joy helping people through this uncertain time for themselves and their family. This is the happiest I have ever been in a job and what’s amazing is that helping people is the biggest motivation of the job, it’s infectious!
If you could change one thing about the care industry, what would it be?
I do not believe you should pay for your care through whole life earnings, care should be free, for everyone. You’ve spent your whole life giving to society, so we as a nation should thank that with free care.
KLARA COXILL

Dream Care Home

Why Lottie?
When I first discovered Lottie, I was greatly inspired by the company's mission to alleviate stress for care seekers, positively impact the care sector and diminish the stigma associated with caring for elderly loved ones. I chose Lottie because it’s clear there is so much passion behind the company and the team genuinely cares about its mission; this is something I really wanted to be a part of.
What's your favourite part of the job?
Talking with care seekers over the phone and sensing the depth of love they have for their family is very moving. It serves as a lovely reminder of the importance of family. Being able to help these care seekers find the ideal care solution for their loved ones is a privilege.
