What Is Carechella?
If you live in the Hampshire town of Havant, get ready to groove, sing and celebrate as Portsdown View Care Home presents Carechella - a one-of-a-kind, free, family-friendly and age-inclusive festival.
Carechella will bring different generations together through an inclusive and fun day, packed with activities such as music, dance, delicious food and everything else you’d associate with a festival!
When Is Carechella Taking Place?
Inspired by the popular American event Coachella, Carechella is taking place on Saturday 19th August 2023 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the newly-opened Portsdown View.

Portsdown View Care Home is committed to the safety and comfort of all attendees. Trained first aiders will be present throughout the event, and quiet corners will be available for those seeking a more relaxed environment.

Sarah Peach - care home manager at Portsdown View - has said that "Carechella was born out of our desire to create intergenerational connections and showcase the vibrant spirit of older adults, all whilst offering a free, fun day out for the local Havant community.”
Sarah has also said that Portsdown View is “beyond excited to welcome locals to our home for this exciting new and free event.”

Portsdown View Care Home
