The care love and support given to my grandad while he is here is absolutely exceptional all his needs are met he is happy and enjoys being in a care home where he is understood and cared for with love his hair is cut every 2 weeks he’s always clean and tidy and they treat everyone like they are their own family they are always going above and beyond to make sure each resident has the care they need days out and daily activities to keep their minds stimulated as a family we are all very happy with the care and support given thank you all for making the transition so much more stress free

Having worked in care myself for years, I couldn't have asked for better care for my Grandmother in the last few weeks of her life. Care staff and nurses were so patient and kind with my grandmother as well as us family. Home is well designed and very welcoming. Would recommend to anyone looking for a safe space for their loved one.

The Farmstead really sets a standard, and the management and staff are more than just employees - they are amazing carers and nurses who go above and beyond. When my mum was transferred here from hospital for end of life care, as a family we had needed to make some very difficult decisions about what should happen in the last weeks of her life - she had always been against being 'shoved into a home', and so the whole process was upsetting. Our fears were quickly halted when we were able to meet the management before mum's arrival - they allowed us to see her room, and asssured us of her care mediacally and personally would be met. And they were - from the moment of her admittance to the very end, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that mum was kept clean, safe, and comfortable. Mum was, sadly, only with them for a short time, but we as a family felt that every need was met for mum, and they openly encouraged us to make her space as comfortable and homely as possible during her stay. The staff were so kind and attentive. They spend time with mum frequently to make sure she was pain-free and comfortable, her bed was clean, and her personal hygiene was met every single day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Farmstead to others having to make this very difficult decision.

I am so very grateful to the management and staff at the Farmstead Nursing home in Lawley, Telford for looking after my husband. He became a resident there before lockdown. Both he, and I as a visitor, were made very welcome by everyone. Then during lockdown the staff became his family. He and I could only talk on WhatsApp. I was lucky enough to see my husband after lockdown was lifted, but not for very long until his passing. It became very apparent after lockdown how much my husband and the staff had bonded. During my husband’s last days the management and staff were amazing. It was a really difficult time. They were so helpful, supportive, professional, caring to my husband, to me, and to other members of my family. Whilst I was at the home I could see how well the staff cared for other residents. I would strongly recommend the Farmstead Nursing Home to anyone who is in that difficult position of choosing a care home for their loved one.

Daughter of resident We had a bit of a shakey start to begin with as we all settled in I think this was due to the lack of leadership from the previous manager. The staff seemed in low spirits and seemed disheartened. But the management that are running the home now we could not have faulted them I have to say the care and attention we all received as a family was excellent. Whilst our mom was end of life they allowed us all to say goodbye in a dignified respectful way. And the care they gave to us all was great 👍thanks you allb
