Retaining the architectural beauty from its former Municipal uses , Charing House has been converted into a high specification care home providing nursing, dementia, learning and physical disability residential and respite care. Located in Gillingham, this care home has 88 beds divided into 5 separate wings enabling a wide variety of care services to be offered. Facilities include a library, hair salon, roof garden and courtyard, sensory room, hydrotherapy room and private access to Gillingham Park. Residents are encouraged to plant their own flowers and vegetables on the raised soil beds provided.
