What people say about Alveston Leys

Our elderly Mum was admitted to Alveston Leys Care Home from Warwick Hospital for continuing care towards her end of life in March 2025. Mum was a resident for just over a week which was her prognosis, and i can honestly say that Alveston Leys was exceptional on so many things that are important for anyone going into care and their family as visitors. The friendly and professional staff, the positive team atmosphere, the lovely location, the care and authenticity, and the quality and hygiene of the whole care home was just a joy and a privilege to appreciate in these moments of need. I would highly recommend Alveston Leys and want to recognise the whole team there which exceeds above any expectations you need / hope for.

At the time of choosing it seemed such a challenge to find the right care home as all I wanted was the best, but I am so happy to tell you that I have found it! My mum is wheelchair bound and is residential at Alveston Leys. She constantly receives company, genuine love and compassion that is consistent both day and night. She tells me that she is met with a smile even in the early hours. I spend a lot of my time at the care home and can confirm that this is the opinion of all residents that I have spoken to who have told me that you couldn’t ask for more loving care. Alveston Leys has a uniqueness that is so special as the building is very grand and the grounds are extensive and beautiful, but it remains extremely down to earth and homely and the staff are clearly happy working there. Alveston Leys exudes a lived in, loving and family feeling which I feel could not be matched anywhere else. The entertainment that the residents receive is exceptional and ranges from from the simple things that you’d do at home such as walks out and cooking, to having farm animals visit, magicians, singers, pub visits, artists and more. The residents are entertained nearly all day long and are sung to nearly every evening!! On top of this, if your loved one enjoys gardening, the grounds of this care home are very well established and tended, truly peaceful and beautiful and you can sit out in them whenever you wish. You can also enjoy them from the sunny conservatory and many of the bedrooms. The care home is in a pretty village only a stone’s throw from Stratford upon Avon, has a good pub and two churches. I really am confident that you wouldn’t find a better home away from home anywhere else!

Alveston Leys is a lovely home with beautiful surrounding gardens. You can tell that the nurses and carers genuinely care about the residents and couldn't do more to make them feel comfortable and at home. I wouldn't think twice about putting my loved ones in the care of Alveston Leys as I know they would be so well cared for.

A perfect place for your loved ones. I was amazed by the service and the locality of Alveston Leys. I was there in the summer of 2019 being a part of the summer feat. The staff were amazing and the care and compassion towards the residents were so evident on my visit. Highly recommended.
