A beautiful purpose-built care home located between Hungerford and Marlborough, Froxfield houses 44 residents, including a specialist 16-bed dementia care household. Providing residential and nursing care, Froxfield offers residents the peace and quiet of gardens and rolling Wiltshire countryside. The friendly care team is led by manager Maria and work closely together to help all residents live independent and fulfilling lifestyles. With public transport, pubs and shops all within easy distance, Froxfield also has excellent connections with the local community and an active friends network to help residents socialise and make friends. The Brendoncare "Care for Life" promise ensures that once residents are accepted in one of our homes they will not have to leave due to lack of funds. Care for Life is a charitable third-party top-up payment that can support those residents who may have been with us for a while.
Types of Elderly Care*
Individuals that have been diagnosed with dementia and are no longer able to live independently at home due to requiring specialist 24-hour care services.
Individuals who require 24-hour assistance and care from qualified nurses due to medical conditions and/or personal living needs. This may include people that require intensive rehabilitative care following a stroke, or simply need support using a peg feeding tube.
Individuals that require a temporary living arrangement at a care home. Respite is also referred to as a short care home stay and may range from a few days to a couple weeks.
