Located in Goldenhill in Stoke-on-Trent, Lawton Rise is a Barchester care home providing specialist dementia care. All rooms at the home are equipped to support residents who need advanced dementia nursing, with rooms on the first floor adapted for less mobile residents who require a greater level of care. Lawton Rise has also been specially designed, furnished and decorated to minimise the distress that can be caused by loss of memory, as well as confusion and problems with speech and understanding. Residents are supported to live life how they choose to; whether it’s joining in with activities or relaxing in a quiet spot.
Individuals with low care needs but may need assistance with personal care and day-to-day tasks including dressing, food preparation and washing.
Individuals that have been diagnosed with dementia and are no longer able to live independently at home due to requiring specialist 24-hour care services.
Individuals that require 24-hour assistance due to medical conditions and/or personal living needs. This may include people that require intensive rehabilitative care following a stroke, or simply need support using a peg feeding tube.
Individuals that require a temporary living arrangement at a care home. Respite is also referred to as a short care home stay and may range from a few days to a couple weeks.
