About Me & Career Pathway

I joined Lottie in February 2022, and am the Director of Finance. In this role, I oversee the financial operations that support Lottie’s mission to improve care and later living options across the UK, focusing on care homes, home care services, and retirement living.

At Lottie, my responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day financial operations
  • Reporting on financial performance and ensuring financial transparency across our portfolio of care providers
  • Leading budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory law, industry-specific regulations, and financial standards relevant to the care and retirement living industries

Prior to Lottie, I worked in finance roles at several other companies, including Runa (formerly WeGift), VetsPlus and Jackson Hewitt Tax Services.

Qualifications, Certifications and Topics of Expertise

I have over nine years of experience in accountancy roles covering the U.S and UK, with seven of these years being in early-stage technology start-ups, and more recently in the care and retirement living sectors.

My areas of expertise include:

  • Developing and optimising financial systems that are designed to meet the specific needs of care home, home care and retirement living operators
  • Scaling organisations, particularly technology companies
  • Leading and organising finance teams
