Gilmerton Care Home

Unfortunately mum was only a resident for 8 months, but she enjoyed her time there. She took part in most of the activities that were put on for the residents. The staff and management are wonderful with the residents in their care. I would certainly recommend the home.

My mother was only in a short time . Cannot find one fault. Staff are amazing. Food and facilities first class. Plenty activities to join in. Thank you so much.

Fantastic place. I'm a resident here; if you're lucky enough to get one of the few rooms here, take it. It's like being a rockstar at a 5* hotel; I'd honestly not been looking after myself and was in a bad way, but within a week I was happily adjusted and knew everyone, fellow residents and staff alike, like family. They sorted me out with a personal care regime, a rehabilitation plan, I'd had my hair nicely cut; had my clothes organised, my computer set up, my medication all organised and consultants/doctors/dentist all booked for me. I'm starting to feel like a real person again after finally getting the TLC that I needed from the awesome, happy-to-help, smile-on-their-face nurses, support workers, managers, physios and rec staff at GMCC.

My Husband David has been in the Eden wing since Sept 16 . The staff there are always friendly and keep you up to date with Davids care. After getting to know Sharon,Jo, Ronnie, & Karen under the supervision of Hayde, I trust them completely to take care of David, they are really good with all the residents. I visit nearly every day and made to feel welcome.
