I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone who works at Kirknowe care home, for your kindness, compassion and hard work to keep such a lovely home and it is just that for the residents that live there, i can’t tell you how thankful i am for the peace of mind knowing that my Granny Mattie still lives with the respect and dignity she has always possessed, in a place we can all call her home, as we can visit her at any time as we always would have. Every resident I’ve seen including my gran seemed completely at ease and happy. And the staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and reassuring in their support and understanding. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Gillian x

My mum Mattie has recently moved into Hazlebank. I visited with my daughter this weekend and we are so impressed by the warm welcome we received. My mum looked very settled and we witnessed the care staff being very kind and respectful. The unit has a lovely friendly atmosphere and I feel reassured that my mum is being extremley well cared for. So thankyou all . You should all be proud of yourselves.Lynne and Gillian.

My husband was in the dementia unit Hazelbank for a year and I cant speak highly enough of Kirknowe. The care he received was exemplary. He had Parkinson's and dementia and was a lot of work for the staff as he couldn't walk. The staff really care for their residents and their families from the management to the cleaners. I would definitely recommend Kirknowe.
