Five Stars is not enough for Richmond Manor I would give more if I could. The homemakers (Carers) and Nurses are amazing so caring and fun, they keep spirits high and create a warm and friendly atmosphere for their residents and their colleagues. The home is kept beautiful by the fantastic cleaning and maintenance teams who are also kind and caring which contributes to the overall team spirit. The Management Team are so professional and supportive of their teams. They encourage development of aspiring individuals, they recognise talent and retain it with excellent training, competitive rates of pay, and show value, respect and appreciation through small recognition gifts, just as a ‘thank you’ or, for example ‘Carers Week’. The Wellbeing & Activities Team are brilliant, and so committed to delivering engaging and uplifting entertainment for the residents, ranging from live Singers to exercise classes and even duckling petting!!. Always ensuring that on a residents birthday they are presented with a fabulous birthday cake made fresh by the excellent Catering team. I love Richmond Manor it is truly a lovely home, they are outstanding and I would not hesitate for a moment in recommending them.

I cannot say enough good things about this care home. The staff are incredibly kind, compassionate, and attentive to the needs of the residents. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and feels like a home away from home. The activities and amenities offered are top-notch and keep the residents engaged and happy. You'll have peace of mind knowing your loved one is in good hands here. I highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for a safe and comfortable place for their family member.

Five stars just isn’t high enough. I totally recommend Richmond Manor . My mother lived at Richmond Manor in Ampthill for just over twenty one months and recently died there. Her end of life care was excellent. Not only did they care for her but they also cared for us , the family. Whilst mum was deteriorating they were able to provide very nice meals for us (which included a bottle of wine ). They even went as far as providing two rooms for my sister and I to sleep in as we took turns on the bedside vigil. I honestly can’t express how well we were all supported. The staff genuinely love caring for the clients. Whilst in my mothers room you could here the laughter and conversations . The staff would come in and chat , see how we were , if there was anything we needed , telling their favorite stories of my mum. Some even came in on their days off , brought in their dog . I can honestly say my mothers death was made so much easier because of the care we all received. I wouldn’t hesitate to place my loved one there .They all went above and beyond . Totally recommend Richmond Manor .

The staff communicate to family members really well and my father has settled in nicely. Visits are still a bit tricky with Covid but Richmond Manor are facilitating them as best they can. There are plenty of activities to get involved in and he is liking the food.
