Fantastic care home with wonderful grounds. We tour professional theatre into about 50 care homes on average per year and Walstead is in our top few (along with other Aria homes). We toured a professional production of Alice in Wonderland to the home which was performed in aerial circus, Aria and Walstead were the first to receive aerial circus in care and were extremely proactive in organising and recognising the huge importance of quality activities and entertainment in care and how it supports residents health & wellbeing. Lee Warren connected us to the care home along others, who goes above and beyond to sustain and benefit the welfare of those in care alongside his team. Would highly recommend this home.

When you speak about care. Walstead place provides it’s 24/7 and beyond. My self and team always put the residents first. Leaving at the end of our shift it’s always mixed emotions but we go home knowing we had a good day with the residents. So if you looking for a Caring Home to put your love ones don’t hesitate Walstead is the place to be.

This is a lovely place to work. It feels very homely and like you are part of a family. The grounds are stunning and the building has lots of character with lots of history attached to it. It is a place a would recommend to any of my friends and family.

walstead palce care home is the tidiest and cleanest care home that i have ever been to. i have been to many care homes in burgess hill and hayward heath area,but no one come close to walstead place care home. the staffs are ultra friendly and attentive to resident. plenty of car parking space,the outdoor green environment is great.
