What people say about Abbeycrest

I cannot thank Abbeycrest enough for their generous community spirit. I run several coach trips each year and Abbeycrest very kindly allows a few cars to park on their grassy perimeter for those who live too far away to walk to the pick up point at Essex Way Bus Stop. It also helps me to fill places on the trips, so for that I am very grateful to them. Many of my passengers are elderly and/or live on their own and these trips are a real treat for them as they can travel securely and in good company.

I visited Abbeycrest knowing nothing about care homes but needing to seek care for my Mother. Abbeycrest staff in general, and Tamena in particular, were so kind and helpful and spent considerable time helping me through both what I wanted to know and those things that I should have wanted to know. The home itself is lovely; clean, attractive, welcoming and in beautiful surroundings. The care given is broad and the facilities and activities many and varied. I cannot speak too highly of Abbeycrest and it's people.

I recently visited Abbeycrest for the first time. The home has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the staff were so friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The home was clean, well maintained with a homely feel. The beautiful common on the door step is an added bonus. Sue and Tam are so helpful and you can tell they care so much about their home.

Micheal very kindly allows us to use the amazing facilities at Abbeycrest to hold our Sonning Common Eco group monthly committee meetings and has done for the past year. The staff always greet us with a warm welcome as soon we walk through the door. Micheal is always checking to see if there is anything we need while we are there. They are so supportive of the local community and always asking if there is more they can do for us. We are extremely grateful, so thank you very much Alyson
