My mother was in Abbey Rose Care Home for end-of-life care and passed away peacefully on Monday 26th May at 05:30. I cannot express enough how kind, respectful, and compassionate the staff were throughout her time there. From the moment she arrived, she was treated with dignity—not as a patient, but as a resident. The care home itself was always clean and welcoming. Her room was spotless and comfortable, the bathroom was immaculate, and the food was consistently of a high standard. During the last 48 hours of her life, when she was unconscious, the team maintained her personal care with such sensitivity and respect. Their attention to her dignity never wavered. The level of care provided to us as a family was equally outstanding. My daughter and I were able to stay with her until she took her final breath, and we were given as much time as we needed with her afterward, in peace and privacy. I am deeply grateful to everyone at Abbey Rose Care Home for making an incredibly difficult time more bearable through their genuine care and compassion. Thank you.

The care and support my late mother received was 5 Stars, faultless and outstanding. I felt that my mother was in a luxury hotel with the staff catering to all her medical and social needs, it certainly did not feel like a nursing home. I had been my mother's primary carer for many years and in her last weeks was advised she now needed 24 hour care. Initially I was reluctant but my fear were put to rest with the level of care she received from staff who treated her with the greatest respect, made her laugh and most of all comfortable! There were no restrictions on my visiting times as I work full-time. Extended family and friends who visited mum shared my overall view of Abbey Rose, the level of care given to meet her needs daily was "OUTSTANDING" . My mother's dignity was so well respected! I would strongly recommend Abbey Rose Nursing Home, the Management and staff, who were truly caring and ensure my mother was comfortable and her needs were met at all times. I was able to spend more time with mum as her daughter and not just the carer. A heartfelt THANK YOU from all of her family! ❤️

It's never an easy decision when the time comes for your loved one to move into a care home. But I'm so glad we chose Abbey Rose to provide care for my Mum. She has been here since the home opened, and is very happy and well cared for. All the staff, from manager, receptionist Tracey, and nurses are well managed and approachable, and show Mum the kindness and respect you would want for your loved one. They are patient and loving towards her, responsive to her needs and caring for her like the family they have become in our place. Communication between the nursing staff and family is good, always someone there to talk to when we visit. And Mum is happy. And that is worth 5 stars. Thank you Abbey Rose staff.
