What people say about Pebble Mill

Highlighting top-rated reviews

My son has been in Pebble Mill for over 7 years suffering with Primary Progressive M S. Through out his time there he had the most wonderful care from all the staff. He became reliant on them for everything. He was tube fed, unable to move himself at all plus not able to speak. Yet the staff knew him so well from his eyes and his big smile. At no time did I worry about his safety or his care. In fact the care extended his life. I was always made welcome and encouraged to join in the activities at his side. Everyone entering the home are given a wonderful welcome. The home will be forever in my heart.

Stayed 4 weeks to convalesce from hip replacement (gym accident). My home unsuitable to recover in; Pebble Mill couldn’t have been better. Like modern 4* hotel. Very well furnished and carpeted. Dining rooms (or eat in your room), lounges (activities organised) and 'help yourself' and guests in tea/coffee café. All really, really clean. Spacious air conditioned flat floor room, electric profiling bed. Lovely shower in wet room bathroom (help if you need it). Cleaned daily. Laundry service included. Very good food; wholesome, freshly cooked onsite; 2 choices breakfast, lunch and tea. Tea trolley too. Carer staff are really good… kind and helpful; looked after me, they make sure you’re ok. Also saw they are kind and helpful to residential bedridden people. Carers get them up and washed, are given clean bedding and fed. TV switched on. Call system. Excellent medical care by nurses, dispense meds & checked my wound. You need to hire in physiotherapist. (My personal trainer came in). Can call in your own Chiropodist & hairdresser. (On site salon; hairdresser also comes in). No set visiting times. Lovely garden to sit in. Can entertain visitors. They also arranged for me to go to the hospital for a check up... One of the carers came with me to help. Highly recommend.
