My Mum went into Kenyon after a fall. She was hospitalized and needed time to recover. I wanted to say thank you to several members of the team who cared for Mum. I am sure there are others who are very good but these 3 l had most interactions with. Connor for his promt actions when Mum was unwell with a seasonal bug. His care and attention throughout Mum's stay. Christy who showered and attended to Mum the majority of time. Mum looked lovely.Christy was very alert to any changes in Mum's health and made sure she was eating offering alternative meals to encourage. Angie the physio who helped Mum get active again. Mum is now home thanks to all your help.

My Mum has Dementia and has been in care since July last year. She was at another care home in Bolton and while the care was adequate I felt that she wasn't stimulated enough so I moved her here in April this year. She was initially placed on a Nursing Dementia unit where she was cared for brilliantly (They even looked after me when visiting - made brews and biscuits etc) and when her situation deteriorated the management team re-assessed her and decided that it would be in her best interests to be on a Nursing unit. This was all done efficiently and smoothly and I feel this will benefit Mum greatly. There has been a Whole structural Management change at Bedford recently ranging from Home Manager, Deputy Manager and Admin staff. There has also been changes in the Activities team. The whole atmosphere has changed and the focus is on Happiness and Well-being. There are so many things to do and trips to go on and. Everyone is very positive and always willing to help. Knowing this is my Mums home now makes me happy knowing that she is safe and well cared for.

My mum has dementia and moved in to the home in February 2024. I was so worried that she would not settle and was so relieved when from the beginning she was so happy and even started to take part in activities. The staff are genuinely so lovely and really make an effort to get to know individual residents. The home is clean, well organised and well managed and communication is excellent. My mums health has improved significantly since she went into the home. I would absolutely recommend and thank the management and staff for the fantastic environment and enrichment and most importantly my mums happiness.
