Colne View Care Home

Colne view care home have really made so much effort to make my nan feel at home. She really enjoys the activities, especially the animal visits!

My mother in law has been in Colne View for about 4 months. We couldn't be more pleased with the care and attention she is receiving. Her life has greatly improved since moving in, she goes to almost all of the activities and says the meals are always lovely. All the carers and staff are always pleasant and attentive.

I attend the Forget-Me-Not Cafe and take the Church Services held at Colne View Care Home often which are very friendly, welcoming and supportive of those people who require care and support. The Staff at this Care Home are so kind, professional and supportive people who dedicate themselves to looking after the residence and the visitors. The Home has a wonderful ambiance, it is warm and very clean with a comfortable and supportive environment. There are quite a number of events arranged for the residence to attend at the Home as well as outings arranged to various places, all of which are considerate of people’s conditions such as disabilities and dementia friendly. This is an Amazing Care Home and actually it’s worthy of Five Stars plus! Suzie

My Grandad lived at Colne View the last few months of his life and what an amazing place it is. All of the staff are so friendly, caring and attentive not only to the residents themselves but also the families and friends who come to visit. This can be tough from experience but with the facilities, staff and confidence in knowing they are in the best place, Colne View just made everything a lot easier and brought my family a sense of relief and comfort. We really enjoyed the coffee shop facility, it meant visiting him was pleasant and we could sit as a family with tea and cake and feel some sense of normality being all together. The residents get to enjoy engaging activities, we used to love seeing photos of my Grandad taking part, with a smile on his face. Colne View is nothing short of brilliant and me and my family are so grateful for the amazing facilities, staff and the general community feel this place offered, in a hard time you were there for us.

I frequently visit residents of Colne view in a professional capacity. Home is very welcoming, all staff I have communicated with have always been very happy to help with any queries I have. They take data protection seriously and keeping residents safe. There are many activities for the residents to partake in. The food always smells amazing and the residents tell me it is as good as it smells. Staff and residents all appear to be very happy and content with either living or working there. Very nice atmosphere throughout. Always clean and a fresh scent throughout. Has a nice coffee area where residents and their friends and relatives can sit and enjoy a chat away from other communal areas. If and when the time comes I would be very happy for any of my relatives to reside at Colne view care home.
