I went to sing for the residents at Woodstock and It had a very warm and relaxed atmosphere. Naomi and Elyse were also around for my performance and were really good fun and engaged beautifully with their residents. Highly recommend.

I have been working at Woodstock coming up to 10 years and while much has changed in that time, the residents are our main focus. Our new B Happie initiative ensures the residents feel Safe, Connected and Relaxed and most of all Happie and we strive to give them a reason to smile everyday

I have worked at Woodstock for 16yrs. Having worked in many care settings woodstock is like no other. The staff make the place a home and we've been through tough times together like covid being one of those times and when you see everyone pull together through times like that to continue to strive to give our residents the best care possible and still see smiling faces it reminds me why I choose to stay. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing our residents happy.

It’s never easy having to place your family member into a care setting, in fact it is one of the hardest decisions you have to make. Woodstock have been brilliant from day one. I called on Woodstocks services initially to take mum as a day service every other week, to enable her to have a shower and hair done and give myself a respite day. As mum has late onset dementia they also provided respite care when we went on holiday. Mum was really happy but when being at home became not the best environment as mums needs where more than could be offered in her own home, the staff at Woodstock came to the rescue and welcomed my mum as a resident there. On the day when you see your mum getting out of her bed at home and helping her get dressed and closing that door on her home for the last time, my heart was in pieces. Then I pulled up in my car outside Woodstock to be greeted by a member of staff (Lolly) almost running to the car saying “Pat we have really missed you” I knew then that I had made the right choice and done best by my mum. I am sure Lolly and all the staff at Woodstock may not truly understand how much their genuine care and that greeting on that day meant to me. Since being at Woodstock the care mum has and is receiving is outstanding. If you are thinking of placing a member of your family into a care setting please don’t be the building of posh furniture as it’s the staff that make a home and Woodstock staff go above and beyond. Thank you to all x
