Beautiful place, my step mum finally got a lovely home, staff great , room lovely

Greetings, we have an elderly friend who is a resident, staff always friendly and hpfyl, ensuite rooms pleasant, particularly those overlooking the gardens which are extensive and pleasant, communal sitting rooms and dinning rooms. As good a residential home as we have been in, much better than most.

My Mum (aged 98) moved to Scarborough Hall in February with significant care needs. The staff have been excellent at meeting those needs in a kind, caring and positive way. They are also very responsive and welcoming to friends and family. The individual rooms and communal areas are bright and cheerful and the place is kept very clean and tidy. The quality of the food is amazing and help is on hand for those that need assistance with eating it. Across the board the staff at Scarborough Hall do a great job - including the reception desk, the clinical team, the care team, the cleaners and the kitchen staff. It looks like a really challenging job to me and they do it with good grace and patience. Thank you.

Our family member who is a resident has a very comfortable nicely furnished ensuite room looking out over the garden. She is well looked after by friendly, caring staff. The meals are varied and nutritious and a spacious dining room. Visitors are made very welcome and a self service coffee lounge is always available for their use. The place is very clean and very nicely decorated. There are a variety of activities for residents and sometimes visiting family members can join in. Overall we are very satisfied with our experience.
