My husband was in Perry locks nursing home for the last few months of his life The care John received was wonderful and they didn't just look after him they looked after me too at an extremely stressful time, there wasn't one member of staff I met who I didn't like, yes the rooms are quite basic and could do with a spruce up but you can put pictures up I put fairly lights and a light protector for night times, your own soft blankets ect and to me the care was the most important thing to know when I wasn't there he felt safe Thank you for all your kindness and care everyone laundry, kitchen, grounds men, the lady who did crafts and games the office staff and manager who I cried with, the amazing carers and nursing staff you a very special group of people always ready with a smile and a coffee 😊 THANK YOU

My very disabled brother unfortunately had to go into nursing care after his health had deteriorated over the last few years. My sister and I shed many tears as we were allowed window visits. Day 1 he was in a bed as he had been bedridden for quite some time. The staff were very welcoming and reassuring to my sister and myself but we were still heartbroken. I then had a call within a couple of days to say they had had the physio team in and John would be suitable for a special chair which they happened to have available. They sent me photos and videos of him sitting in the lounge taking part in activities. He is talking more than I have known him do in years, he looks so clean and is dressed properly and had gained 2kg in less than a week!!!! He has laughed with us and I treasure that cheeky smile he gives us now. The staff we have met so far have been so kind and nothing is too much trouble for them. I cannot name them all but we particularly want to thank Jane Nawaz, Tom & Manni and I’m sure the rest of the team at Perrywell House are just as lovely. Thank you all. We may be a little distanced from my brother but you have most certainly given him back to us and more than that you have given him his life back. Thank you all
