It provides 24-hour residential and nursing care, as well as respite care, in a warm and hospitable setting for up to 60 residents. The home features luxurious ensuite bedrooms and inviting communal spaces, including a café, cinema, and hair salon. Outdoors, residents can relax in the summer house or enjoy alfresco dining on the terraces. A vibrant activities programme, supported by a dedicated team, ensures a stimulating environment with experiences such as themed tea parties and dining experiences, classic care events, floristry workshops, wildlife talks, Tai Chi, trips out to nearby attractions, live musical entertainers – Irish dancers, ukulele players, Motown singers, tribute acts and visiting animals – alpacas, birds of prey and even penguins to name a few! Rowan Lodge's person-centred approach creates a homely atmosphere where residents and their families are warmly welcomed.
All-inclusive fees cover hairdressing, physiotherapy, chiropody, days out, and other facilities Rowan Lodge has to offer. There are on-site nurses 24/7 and there is no extra fee for respite care.
