From the moment I arrived at this gorgeous gated village, I felt a real sense of warmth and community. The setting is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, well-kept, and full of charm. It’s the kind of place that immediately puts you at ease. One of the first things I did was pop into the village shop, and I was so touched by how friendly everyone was. Every person I passed greeted me with a smile and a cheerful “hello.” It was such a small thing, but it spoke volumes about the sense of belonging here. The care home itself is simply lovely. It’s bright, welcoming, and spotlessly clean. But what stood out the most was the staff—they were so warm, kind, and attentive, creating an atmosphere that truly felt like home. It was clear that they genuinely cared about the residents, not just in the way they provided care, but in the way they interacted—with patience, laughter, and kindness. I happened to visit on a Friday afternoon, just as the residents were settling in for a quiz and a glass of sherry. The room was filled with chatter and laughter, and I could see how much everyone was enjoying themselves. It wasn’t just an activity—it was a moment of joy, connection, and fun. It was so lovely to witness.

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Eliza Palmer Care Home. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by every member of their team, creating a truly inviting atmosphere. I had the opportunity to tour the facility and was thoroughly impressed by the spacious and comfortable rooms, thoughtfully designed to meet residents’ needs. During my visit, I also observed their lunchtime service, and the meals were beautifully presented and looked absolutely delicious. The care and attention to detail throughout the home made me feel a genuine sense of warmth and comfort—a true home away from home.

I recently visited Eliza Palmer Care Home in Surrey to look at respite care facilities, and was thoroughly impressed. The home boasts stunning décor and the atmosphere is bright, airy, and impeccably clean. One of the standout features is the welcoming café right at the entrance a lovely touch that immediately makes you feel at home. Debbie was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. She provided a wealth of information and made us feel completely at ease, giving us plenty to reflect on.

Eliza Palmer is an exceptional care home, very clean with great homecooked food being produced from their new kitchen. The staff are dedicated and very knowledgeable. I would feel very comfortable if one of my family members wanted to reside there.
