Ashbourne Care Home

My Dad had been living at Ashbourne Care home for the past 3 years and he was very happy there . The management and staff are very kind , loving and caring thanks to them my Dad called Ashbourne his home . my Dad had been very unwell over the past few months and spent a lot of time in and out of hospital . Sadly he left hospital a week ago to go back to Ashbourne for them to look after him and give him end of care life. I can honestly say they couldn’t of done any more for my Dad they took such good care of him and showed him so much love and care , watching the staff care for my Dad in his final days showed me how much they cared and loved him , which I found so touching .sadly my Dad past away a few days ago and I couldn’t have gone through this terrible time in my life without them , there love and support for me has been overwhelming . I personally want to say a very big THANK YOU to everyone of you for caring for my Dad and looking after me .So I’m writing this review to say YES I do highly recommend Ashbourne Care home to anyone if you want your loved one to be cared for and loved when your not there

My brother in law spent the last part of his life here and he received the absolutely best care anyone could have had. The staff are just the best caring loving and dedicated people doing a hard job with a smile and kind word no one could ask for more for their loved ones

I visited the facility today, it has a very conducive and well equipped environment. The service providers seem to be on another level, if it was possible to give them even 5+1 ⭐ I would especially the lady who is a manager I think. I went to look for a job opportunity as a caregiver, I received a warm welcome from the gent who opened the door and directed me to the manager, the lady was so wonderful may Lord bless her, even if there is no openings at the moment, the way she explained it to me 😊 😊 I had a reason to smile after a long tough job seek. I really hope to join the pleasant and focused staff one day.

We are in the process of finding a place in care for my mother-in-law and had been recommended to Ashbourne Care Home. On our initial visit to look round we were most impressed by the facilities and the staff who were all pleasant to deal with.

First day of respite for dad yesterday so hopefully all will go well. We didn't arrive at the home until late afternoon but staff were really welcoming and understanding with both dad and myself. It's a difficult task when you're placing a parent in care but staff were lovely in easing our worries.
