Had 3 family members who have experienced staying at Farnworth, each one happy with the care & dignity they received. Would recommend in the future to ensure your relative receives care and compassion if the decision comes to choosing a care home.

Brilliant place, lovely calming vibe. I’ve visited the care home now on a number of occasions and been met with nothing but kindness by the staff. The rooms are extremely well sized with on-suites. Decorated very very well, I’ve been on all floors and every unit has an individual look that creates a calming atmosphere. The staff are absolutely lovely and genuinely care about their residents, attending to their every need to ensure they’re well looked after. Both nurses and care staff are attentive and nurturing. The care home has a lovely garden which accommodates a calming stroll. Pretty flowers and benches dotted around in order for the residents to be able to rest at a little pit stop. Lots of activities, bingo, gin nights, performers etc and lots of trips to places like Blackpool. Overall I’ve never been happier with a care home, the staff genuinely do care and the facilities are amazing. Couldn’t recommend the place enough.

My Uncle was in Farnworth care home recently with Stage 4 cancer and I could not have been happier with the care that he received in his short time there. All the care staff treated him with kindness and respect and the nursing staff were wonderful at the end. I would like to thank Claire for her help and guidance with the NHS CHC processes and the level of care that her team delivered. If you are looking for a quality home for your loved one - This is it

My mum is lucky enough to be residing on the Belmont unit at Farnworth care home Claire and all her team have shown such compassion to my mum who sadly has deteriorated over the past couple of years and the moment we as a family recognised that she needed more care than we could offer at home, Farnworth care home was our first choice. She spent a week on the residential unit Burnden where she was treated like a queen sadly she then suffered a stroke which resulted in her requiring specialist nursing care at which point she was transfered to Belmont where her needs were met to a high standard and to mine and the rest of the families surprise she now gets involved with activities and for the first time in years has been able to go out with support from the team and have a much better quality of life. The team at Farnworth are amazing but Claire and her fabulous team have worked miracles. THANK YOU 😊
