I always try to attend the events at Brooke house, the staff are always incredibly welcoming and you can tell it’s one big family in the home! The surrounding grounds are beautiful, I recently attended the summer fate which had lovely stalls from the local businesses and a performance from a local children’s dance group which everyone enjoyed. It’s great to see the residents enjoy themselves and get to experience something new at every opportunity. It’s lovely to see how the home involves the local community.

My 91 year old mother who has dementia has been with Brooke House for over four months now. Mum is well cared for by lovely staff and is well nourished with excellent freshly cooked food, prepared on site by their own chefs. Brooke House is always clean and comfortable with a lovely homely feeling and has a beautiful garden to sit out in. I would definitely recommend Brooke House!

My wife had been in another care home whereby she wouldn’t settle, she had numerous falls even had to attend Hospital because of the injury’s she incurred. I was told she wandered around day and night. Eventually the home said they couldn’t cope with her and I had to move her out. In less than a week I’d found Brooke House and they have been marvellous with my wife, she seems so much happier and settled. We’ve had no reoccurrence of falls. All the staff are so friendly and caring. Brooke House feels very homely and not stark like I found the previous place.

I would recommend Brooke House to anyone wishing to find a care home for their loved one. The home is well kept and peaceful and the kind and caring staff go out of their way to make residents, family and friends feel at home and are always on hand to answer any questions or concerns. Mum was at Brooke for many years and we found the patience and energy of staff amazing, especially Caroline, Chris, Kerry and Tom who helped me immensely at this very difficult time. I shall miss my lovely Mum but I shall also miss Brooke House.

My wife has been in Brooke House since August2013. I inspected nine local care homes before selecting Brooke House The quality of care has been exceptional, with very caring staff, clean and good quality furnishings, plus wholesome home cooked food. Local NHS staff call regularly to provide any medical needs as required and requested. Regular entertainment is provided and trips out for those who are able to travel. An added bonus is the large well tended garden
