K Lodge Care Home

I am very impressed with how well all the staff at KLodge have managed to keep our loved ones safe during the Covid pandemic, they were quick to react to the situation and have followed all the guidelines very professionally. My mother is happy and settled at KLodge and all her needs are taken into account. The review of my mother's care shows that they are well aware of her needs and the support that she requires. All the staff are always polite and are quick to react to any issues which may need to be raised. I enjoy receiving the regular newsletters which help me to see what is going on.

My mum moved into K Lodge late December last year. It was a big decision to have to make but I now know it was definitely for the best. Mum has had altzheimers for about eight years now and we have had all of the ups and downs heartbreak and total despondency that goes with this wicked evil disease. I have watched my mum disappear in front of my eyes which just destroys you inside. But Carol,Emma and their wonderful patient team have taken her into their hearts and looked after her beautifully. She is well cared for, cooked for washed and dressed for by these wonderful carers who take the good from my mum with wonderful smiling faces and the awful abuse that is part of her disease with also a smile and patience that calms my mum back to the happy person. My mum is 95 years old, very frail to look at but her character is still string and comes through. Her care is second to non. I visit at any time of day and I always find the same tender respectful care shown to all the residents. There is always something for them to do and they are always happy to join in. I didn't want to make that decision but I am now glad that I did. I am also so very pleased that after a lot of looking and searching different care homes I chose K Lodge for my mum. Thankyou all of you for being there for her and for me too.

The staff at K Lodge care for my father with respect and dignity, even though at times he has not deserved it, and has not always been the easiest of clients to care for. They are very hardworking ,considerate and very patient with all their clients. The home is very clean and does not smell which just shows the standard of cleanliness. Thank you .

I have given K Lodge 5 stars for the exceptional care and attention my father receives from all staff. The carers are always cheerful and friendly despite the difficult situations they have to deal with, the chef does her best to satisfy my dads pernickety eating habits and the laundry lady makes his day by giving his shirts special attention! I am very grateful to them all.
