Arranging a care home for a beloved parent seems like a heart-breaking process. But it can come right. I am completely certain that The Grange is the best place for mum. The management is clearly highly experienced and sensible and their hearts are in it. They have provided mum with a standard of care in these years that I could never have given to her. I am so very grateful for it.

Auntie D despite being resistant has settled happily and greets me with a smile. She clearly interacts well with the friendly staff who gently tease, cajole and keep her busy through the day. The Grange is a kind and cheerful residence, as home from home as such a place can be. It may not have the newest facilities but it is the people and relationships that count and for that I give it 5 stars.

I visited The Grange’s open day with family to enjoy the warm afternoon with residents, staff, neighbours and other visitors (as part of The Great British Care Cycle Relay where care home workers cycled 300 miles from Manchester to London). The atmosphere was lovely, there was entertainment, food and the cutest ice cream van - with ice cream vouchers handed out to everyone who came along! I had a great time chatting and hearing some amazing stories, especially from an ex-RAF pilot who is still flying light aircraft to this day (waiting for my invite)

My grandmother has being living at the Grange for a while now, in her words heaven on earth. The dedication of the staff is second to none. The surroundings are beautiful and the activities have given her a new lease on life. I found dealing with the management easy and felt very supported in the admission process and the care plans produce are incredibly detailed, all needs are met. I first heard of the Grange from a friend who had similar views of the home. I've asked if I could stay there but I'm a tad too young for a permanent residence unfortunately. I cannot thank the team enough for all they do for my grandmother and the emotional support they give her and the rest of my family when they visit.

So happy that we found the Grange for my Mum. She is well looked after. Staff are genuinely caring, going over and above. Mum gets stuck in to all the varied activities, posted on FB too. She has a super connection with her carers who know her well and adapt activities to suit her needs and interests. Communication is great. At a time of life that can be difficult for families it is comfort indeed to know that my Mum is in such a caring, kind place and home from home.
