Part of the Brighterkind care group, The Berkshire Care Home is located on the edge of Wokingham and provides residential, nursing, respite and palliative care. Facilities include single bedrooms, most with en-suite facilities, peaceful lounges and outdoor areas and a hair stylist, chiropodist and therapist visit the home regularly. Residents are encouraged to participate in the varied activities programme, which includes picnics, film club, beauty afternoons and singing. Residents’ families can also join in the fun! The Berkshire benefits from great transport connections, including the M4 motorway and is close to local shops and amenities, with Wokingham shopping centre less than a mile away.
